I co-produced this documentary with Jerald Harkness for the Oaks academy.  I also shot (the interviews and most of the B Roll), wrote and edited it.
I cut this, including selecting bites and structuring it, editing all the music, and designing the graphical look
for Studio Auteur as a proof of concept for a series that is still in the process of being sold.

I cut this trailer for a documentary I edited for Mays Entertainment on conservationism in Kenya. Following four Kenyan young men from different corners of the country and telling the story of how their lives relate to the ostensibly foreign concern of conserving the environment.

I cut this and help to write it with Jerald Harkness of Studio Auteur, who produced/directed it with Shine Global. It was originally for Spike TV but ended up on The Paramount Network. It was also in The Heartland Short Film Festival. After the 2016 election, students at Hume-Fogg, a diverse Tennessee school for people of different backgrounds, learn a little open-mindedness from the young conservative editor of the student newspaper.
This is the 1st of 7 clips from 'Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delany'. This show won the National Emmy for Best Editing. I was responsible for the 'writing': the structure of narrative or storytelling more than on any of the other shows I've worked on. I was given about 3 hours of interview selects by the producer and wove the story together from that. I was also responsible for the music choice & editing; picture edit (including sourcing stock); graphic design and SFX editing (with help from Audio engineer: Steve McQueary). The New York Times reviewed the show as "skillfully assembled and edited" and the Miami Herald wrote "Stunning documentary...seamlessly woven."

This contains several scenes of graphic gore. This is the Demo for 'Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delany' that I put togther to sell the idea to networks. WE were very enthusiastic from the start and gave the show a limited commercial break viewing (only one break). The show had the 2nd highest ratings ever for WE. I edited the final show (7 clips of which are above). It was nominated for Best Documentary and won the National Emmy for Individual achievement in a Craft: Editing.
This documentary about the genesis of Title IX, was produced for the NCAA and broadcast on ESPN2. Chris Wertz wrote, produced & directed. I cut it and did the motion graphics. Narrated by Holly Hunter.

I edited this promo for a series about a father and son team (Bob and Matt Massie) who have a hobby of trawling for old 'junk' through estate auctions, pawnshops and the like, mainly for old military mementos. In this episode they find a box, the contents of which they eventually reunite with its owner, a WWII vet who happens to still be alive and delighted to see them again. This story couldn't have worked out any better. The pilot that I eventually cut for this won a bronze National Telly Award.
This won a bronze National Telly Award. I edited this (including heavily editing the script) as a pilot for a series. I also wrote the open narration and cut and post-produced the demo (above).
